All the TDI kits I have on the shelf here (ALH, BEW/BHW, BRM, and CBEA/CJAA) have Litens tensioners and INA rollers, with either a Gates or Continental belt, and either a Hepu or Graf water pump.I don't know if they'll go 91,500 miles. The smaller roller(s) are usually made by INA or GMB, and will use their own bearings. The water pumps' brands I have used over the years, interchangeably with no noticeable difference in quality are Hepu, Graf, Saleri, and Geba. No, just dont use a Gates kit or anyone who insists on using one.unless they want to warranty the job (parts and labor) for the next 7 years or 100K. The bearing inside could be SKF, NTN, or GMB, or even Litens own in-house. Litens is a Canadian company, and for the TDIs at least, they are typically still making the tensioners in Canada and will be printed as such. ![]() I brought these belts beacause I was a little short on cash and the Gates belts are hard to find in my local area retailers. The tensioner should be a Litens brand, no matter whose box (Ruville, INA, SNR, etc.) in which it is found. 1 Hello guys, Two weeks ago I replaced all of my original Hyundai OEM Gates acessory belts with Duralast-Dayco made belts sold at Autozone. I don't have any personal experience with one on a TDI, however. However, the other bits included in their kits may not be known appropriate brands for the application.
